Deemed as Englewood's pearl in the sun, the Oyster Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole semi-private golf course with a mid-size measurement of 3,976-yards. Designed by architect Ted McAnlis and first constructed in 1992, the layout offers six par fours and 12 pars 3's that create a fair test for golfers for all skill levels.
All players and members of the club, most especially beginners, have access to the course's putting and chipping greens, along with a driving range to practice their swing before each round. They can also seek assistance from the welcoming and all-smiles Oyster Creek staff to ask for tips and tricks to improve their game or also look for guidance on the club's registration process, how to rent clubs and carts, and much more.
Nestled inside the beautiful gated community of Englewood's Oyster Creek Golf and Country Club, golfers get to enjoy the course's well-groomed fairways and greens with terrific views of tranquil bodies of water surrounding the grounds of the layout. After playing a round of golf, members of the club can also take a short drive to enjoy a sunset dinner on some of Florida's most serene beaches.
Those who prefer to dine in and watch games at Oyster Creek can enter its expansive clubhouse, with an included Pro shop, where the club's friendly staff serve mouthwatering breakfast and lunch meals. Inside is also the club's heated swimming pool and billiards room.
With the installed tennis court, new golfers at Oyster Creek will be surprised to know that the course offers no mandatory membership for anyone, whether community resident or not. But the layout still has the option of annual memberships for singles and couples, which covers all green fees throughout the entire year.
