Pacific Dunes Golf Club is ideally located at Port Stephens, on the east coast of New South Wales, moments from the beach and surrounded by native flora and fauna.
The course was designed by James Wilcher, who had almost a decade of experience as Greg Norman's lead designer in the Australasian region. The course is finished with world-class pure bentgrass greens and Santa Ana Couch fairways and is maintained to an impeccable standard.
Pacific Dunes combines two distinct nine-hole loops to create a spectacular 18 hole, walk or cart, championship course. Pacific Dunes' outward nine is interwoven among natural lakes and wetlands, while the back nine meanders through shady Angophoras and Swamp Mahogany trees.
This par 72 layout (6,403-metre) is ranked number 26 in the Top 100 Public Access Courses by Golf Australia. Carefully placed hazards, reduced potential for water carries, and multiple teeing options coupled with generous fairway widths make it a course with varying degrees of difficulty for every level of golfer.
There are six warm-up nets, a putting and chipping green, and a well-equipped pro shop. Pacific Dunes also has a variety of leisure facilities including swimming pool, tennis courts, parks, gardens, and multiple walking trails. There are several bars and dining options and function and event catering.
