Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Florida's beautiful Intracoastal Waterway lies the world-renowned Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course. Remarkably, residents near Par 3 can play the course for as little as $21 for 18-holes, and for visitors, the highest green fee is $57.
Originally designed by legendary golf course architect Dick Wilson and his then apprentice Joe Lee in 1960, the golf course was redesigned and completely renovated by World Hall of Fame champion Raymond Floyd in 2009. Floyd changed the routing, so the holes move in various directions. He also added more slopes to the greens and replaced the Bermuda grass with Paspalum.
Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course designer Raymond Floyd, accompanied by the quote, “My philosophy is work within the land to create a golf course that looks natural, that flows and fits into the small overall landscape.” As a result, the par 54 routing has been touted twice by Golf Digest as “The Best Par 3 in the U.S.” and has so far been listed among Golf Range Magazine's Top 25 Short Courses in the country for two years.
Beautiful landscaping, along with two lakes and lush greens, creates a stunning tropical setting where there's always an ocean breeze. Palm Beach Par 3 is a test of accuracy with individual holes that measure from 81 to 211-yards. Its greens, water hazards, and sand bunkers provide golfers with everything they need to improve their game.
Palm Beach Par 3's new two-story Key West style clubhouse features a fully stocked Pro-shop on the first floor and al Fresco Restaurant and bar on the second level. A full-length driving range, putting green, and practice bunker are also available.
