Situated in Leesburg, one of the most beautiful areas in Florida, the Pennbrooke Fairways, Oaks Executive Course is a semi-private 9-hole layout with a much shorter length compared to its sister routings, at 1,688-yards from the longest tees. The Oaks Course is ideal for beginners to develop sound skills and for accomplished golfers to refine their short game.
The par 30 Oaks appears on the scorecard as a benign nine-hole course tucked neatly among homes, ponds, and the occasional bunker. However, the fairways are often narrow and pose an accuracy challenge to many golfers, with the tight fairways requiring golfers to carefully place their shots to attain par.
The Pennbrooke Fairways, Oaks Executive Course is ideal for developing and honing a golfer's short game as it offers five tee placements on each hole. There are six par 3 holes ranging from just 56-yards from the yellow tees to 205-yards from the black tees, and three par 4 holes that range from 215-yards from the yellow tees to 311-yards from the black tees. All feature tight fairways that will challenge all golfers and any errant tee shots on this layout will find out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways on eight of the nine holes.
Like its sister course, the Pennbrooke Fairways, Meadows Executive Course, the Oaks is a very walkable course, providing golfers with over a mile of easy exercise. Riding carts are permitted but restricted to cart paths on par 3 holes. Rentals for both carts and clubs are available from the all-smiles staff of Pennbrooke.
At the Pennbrooke Fairways, Oaks Executive Course the greens are well-bunkered and water comes into play on five of the nine holes. The club also offers a putting green, pitching green, and training professionals to help first-timers. Players can dine at the clubhouse's restaurant, which serves delicious meals daily.
