PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has a remarkable five 18-hole championship golf courses. The Palmer Course was designed by the team of Arnold Palmer, Ed Seay, and Robert Walker, and first opened in 1984. The layout was revised by Palmer in 2006 and is one of the more forgiving at PGA National Resort.  

The open fairways and larger Champion Bermuda greens of the par 72 layouts can be quite accommodating and invite players to take a chance if they dare - as golfers are not overly penalized for missing the fairway or primary rough on most holes here. There is a considerable amount of undulation through the fairway, presenting the opportunity for uneven lies and creative shot-making. The Palmer routing also has a great series of finishing holes, with the 18th being one of the most scenic par 5s on the property. 

For those looking to master the 7,079-yard PGA National Resort and Spa, Palmer Course layout, the club is home to the PGA National Golf Academy and extensive practice facilities. The double-sided driving range, short-game area, putting greens, and indoor training area provides a comfortable setting to work on your game. 

The resort also includes luxury hotel rooms, nine restaurants and lounges, a 34,000-square-foot conference wing, a 40,000-square-foot spa, a 33,000-square-foot health and racquet club with 19 tennis courts, a golf digest academy, and a member's club.
