As one of the premier spots for golf among Central Florida resorts, the resort features a challenging 18-hole Championship Course and the 9-hole Lagoons Course initially designed by famous course architect Mark Mahannah, Sr. in 1958.

Mahannah created the rewarding 6,477-yard Championship Course in the traditional “Florida” style with a variety of water on sixteen of the layout's holes. 53 strategically placed bunkers, along with challenging fairways lined by mature emerald pine and oak trees native to the region are the defining characteristics of this championship routing.

The Plantation on Crystal River, Championship Course also features fourteen different bird species, including bald eagles. Plantation Golf Club also takes pride following the PGA's new guidance of reducing timelines of rounds to under four hours. Regular games at the Plantation average three and one-half hours. The golf course also hosts several golf tournaments throughout the year.

Plantation on Crystal River is all about fun! After guests dry off from a swim with the Manatee, they can head to the activities lawn for a game of horseshoes, shuffleboard, or croquet.
