Rainbow’s End Golf Club is conveniently located in Dunnellon, Florida, just west of Ocala and a short drive from Florida’s gulf coast. It’s a beautiful course, complete with all the small touches and amenities that one expects from a high quality golf facility.
The 9-hole “Rainbow” course at Rainbow’s End Golf Club features a length of 2,884-yards from its longest set of tees for a par 36, a rating of 33.7, and a slope of 107. The recently renovated tees have added a Senior tee area, providing a challenge for experienced players, as well as an easy, learning experience for newcomers to the game and the Dunnellon golf community.
This course was founded in 1965, and since 2010 it has been owned by Don and Linda DeLaney. Golf Digest recently ranked Rainbows End Golf Club the #3 nine-hole golf course in the state of Florida. In addition to the fantastic course, the club has a Pro Shop for all equipment and apparel needs. An excellent selection of golf clubs is sold in the Pro Shop.
Players can stop by the club’s fully-stocked golf shop before or after a round and browse through name brands. The club’s friendly staff will also help golfers make start times, rent golf carts, sign up for club storage, and register as a player and guests before each round of golf.
Rainbow’s End Golf Club also offers a 12-tee driving range, chipping and putting areas, and is the perfect place to improve a player’s short game. The club also offers golfers lessons and club repairs, as well as fostering league play and junior golf. Finally, after a round of Dunnellon golf players can retire to the clubhouse where they serve beer, wine, hot sandwiches, and snacks.
