Rotonda Golf and Country Club, Long Marsh, The Pine Valley is the newest 9-hole addition and is enjoyable for golfers of all levels. Opened in 2007 and designed by Ted McAnlis, Long MarshGolf Club's gently rolling fairways meander through 450-acres of natural Florida scrub and its fairways and greens are invitingly framed by native pines, oaks, and palms.
The Pine Valley course is a semi-private layout that has well-groomed fairways and greens, making the course challenging yet friendly. The club is a terrific choice for a golfer's regular round and a new destination for those visiting Rotonda West. Each hole has its own distinctive character, set amid natural bunkers, lakes, and marshes that are havens for wildlife.
Long Marsh is the newest of Rotonda Golf and Country Club's five courses and has the largest area with 750-acres of environmentally protected wetlands and woodlands. The 27-hole Long Marsh Golf Club is comprised of three nine-hole courses; Long Meadow, White Marsh, and Pine Valley. The three nine hole routings and four sets of tee boxes provide course distances ranging from 5,257 to 7,120-yards.
Facilities at the course include a driving range, pitching and chipping area, and putting green. Golfers who want to improve their game can take lessons at the Rotonda Golf Academy, where the club offers group and private lessons for beginners and small group clinics. The club also offers a Pro shop, a clubhouse bar, snacks, and The Hills Restaurant.
