The Palms is Rotonda's second 18-hole championship course. Golfers are astounded by its five finishing holes, including six different water hazards, multi-tiered greens, and two of Florida's most demanding holes, the 15th & 16th, back to back. This course is well designed with four sets of tees that challenge all skill levels.
Designed by D.J. DeVictor in 1980, the par 72 "Palms" course measures 6,511-yards from the longest tees for a par 72. This course is one of five courses that are part of the Rotonda Golf and Country Club.
Located in the Pebble Beach community at Rotonda West, the Palms has long been one of the most famous golf courses in Charlotte County. With golf homes situated only around the outside perimeter of the community, the Palms course can also be called a "core course," with no houses running through the center of the course.
Facilities at the course include a driving range, pitching and chipping area, and putting green. Golfers who want to improve their game can take lessons at the Rotonda Golf Academy, where the club offers private lessons for beginners and small group clinics.
