Sailfish Sands Golf Course Reversible 9 Black Course welcomes golfers to one of the very few reversible courses in the country. The Sailfish Sands Golf Course was designed by renowned golf course architect John Sanford and is set up to be played in one direction (Sands Black) and then flipped on a different day to play the opposite direction (Sands Gold).

The Sands Black arrangement plays clockwise at 3,368-yards while the Sands 9 Gold plays anticlockwise at 2,868-yards. There are five sets of tees to accommodate players of all skill levels.

The Black Course starts near the Pro Shop, proceeds clockwise around the routing, and ends near the driving range. This par 35 course is the more challenging and longer of the two 9s, offering two very long par 3s.

The signature hole on the Sailfish Sands Golf Course Reversible 9 Black Course is the 7th, which overlooks the airport and plays 427-yards from the longest tee. The hole plays to a tight fairway with water on the left and a fairway bunker on the right. The approach shot requires a mid to long iron onto one of the most undulating greens on the course with two green-side bunkers and out of bounds on the left.

Added features include new golf carts with GPS, all new greens, new pathways, and modern bathrooms. There is also the new driving range. Gone is the 100-year-old golf course's staid, old range. Now, there is the 13-acre range with low-level lighting for evening play, LED glow balls, interactive targets, and ball-tracking technology.
