As Australia's only Arnold Palmer signature course, The Pines layout at Sanctuary Cove is recognized as one of Australia's best and most challenging courses. The Pines is carved through over 100-hectares of established pine forest and the course features corridor approaches to several holes, with lakes guarding others.
An abundance of wildlife can be seen on the course including rare birdlife and scores of kangaroos. This par 72, 6,681-metre, private course features 14 of its holes contoured around six man-made lakes.
The Palms layout has undergone an $8.8 million reconstruction in recent years and was redesigned by renowned golf course architect Ross Watson. The Palms, which is open to the public, is considered a championship course rivaling some of the best golf courses in Australia.
Nestled within century-old Cabbage Palms, the course is a par 70, 5,904-metre return to the traditions of the game, with distinctive holes, deep greenside bunkers, and boldly contoured greens requiring creative shot making.
Other golfing amenities include a large double ended driving range, three full scale practice holes, large chipping and putting greens, practice bunkers, and a fully stocked golf shop.
