Sandridge Golf Club features 36-holes of championship golf located in Vero Beach, Florida. Publicly accessible The Lakes Course at Sandridge was designed by Ron Garl and opened for play in 1992. The course features Bermuda grass fairways and greens, as well as numerous water hazards.
The par 72 routing is 6,262-yards in length with a slope rating of 132. Signature holes on the Lakes Course include the 3rd, a short par 4 with a lake lurking on the left edge of the green. The 9th is a long par 5 that doglegs to the right around water. Lastly, the 18th is a challenging finishing hole with water guarding the front of the green.
Amenities at the Sandridge Golf Club include a clubhouse restaurant and bar. In addition to golf, there are a few other activities available such as tennis, swimming, and a fitness center. The club also boasts a well-stocked Pro shop that offers the latest golf apparel and equipment along with golf cart rentals and club rentals.
The golf course has received recognition and several awards over the years. The Lakes Course was chosen as one of America's Best New Public Courses in 1997 by "Golf Magazine" and has been voted one of Florida's Top 100 Golf Courses by "Golf Digest" magazine. The PGA Tour has held several tournaments at the Sandridge Golf Club, Lakes Course. The most notable of these was the Chrysler Classic of Tampa Bay in 2002 and 2003, which was a stop on the Champions Tour.
