The private Seabrook Island Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses immersed in the natural splendor of Seabrook Island's gated residential community. Seabrook is a barrier island located just off the coast of South Carolina, is just a few miles from historic Charleston, and is in the broader area often referred to as Kiawah Island, which also includes Johns Island.
The two uniquely different layouts of the Crooked Oaks and Ocean Winds Courses offer undisturbed natural surroundings with challenging routings. Members and their guests always enjoy a level of privacy that ensures a refreshing pace of play.
Designed by Willard Byrd, the par 72 Ocean Winds Course is a 6,802-yard layout that takes you to the Atlantic Ocean where swirling breezes provide a challenging test of ability. More wind and water give golfers ample opportunity to find trouble throughout the Ocean Winds Course, however, the front and back nines play completely different. The front nine is fairly straightforward and will lull players into the back nine, which gives a wilder and more scenic island ride.
Along with a well-stocked Pro shop golfers at Seabrook Island will find plenty of opportunities to work on their game at the club's recently renovated state-of-the-art practice facility. Other recreational activities are available to club members including tennis and racquet sports, equestrian, swimming pools, and a modern fitness center.
The Seabrook Island Club and clubhouse provides a variety of indoor and outdoor dining venues for lunch, dinner, and private events of any size. There is also a Beach Club and a Kid's Club which offers a variety of activities just for children.
