Established in 1996, the Shirasagi Golf Club and its Greg Norman designed 18-hole golf course is located not far from Kobe, in the mountainous terrain of Himeji, in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Open to the public, Shirasagi's par 72 parkland-style layout is quite hilly due to its location and the 6,804-yard championship routing rises and falls around several large, stately ponds.

The front nine at Shirasagi, which is a cart-only course, has many relatively long holes due to recent changes to the size and shape of the fairways. The back nine is more up and down and skilfully arranges blind approaches and bold water carries. Of the four par 3s, three feature water approaching the edge of the green. The 16th is a particularly difficult hole that requires a carry of 200-yards from the back tee.

The clubhouse building is a large modern structure and houses a well-appointed bar and restaurant along with the club's Pro shop which can assist with any equipment needs players may have. There is also a range of practice facilities available at the Shirasagi Golf Club including a driving range, putting green, and an extensive chipping area.
