Southport Golf Club, one of the longest established members-only clubs in Queensland, is nestled right in the heart of the Gold Coast. Located in spectacular Southport and only minutes from Surfers Paradise, the club's 18-hole links-style course is a jewel in the crown of Queensland golf.  

Southport Golf Club has been designed to accommodate all levels of golfers and offers its members a unique experience with an optimum level of genuine customer service. The par 71 course, set out by Graham Marsh and Ross Watson, is easy walking with a mild amount of undulation along its 5,816-metre length and features tree-lined fairways as well as multiple strategically placed ponds and lakes. 

All the layout's fairways are beautifully manicured turfgrass and the greens are 328 couch grass. The course starts with a reasonable par 5 and most golfers meander through the first nine holes relatively comfortably. The more challenging back nine, which has been completely redeveloped over the past fifteen years, is where most games are won or lost. 

The club has a well-supplied Pro shop and has both a driving range and putting green for golfers to warm up on before a round. Afterward, players can relax in the clubhouse which offers both bar and dining facilities. The club can also cater for events and has a range of function spaces and options available.
