Sweetwater Golf and Tennis Club is a renowned private golf course situated in the center of the Sweetwater Community. The private 18-hole layout meanders its way along with rolling fairways and greens that are well maintained for a perfect day out. The golf course, measuring 2,939-yards, was designed by the renowned golf architect Bill Barrett and opened in 1988. The course's signature holes are the tenth, fifteenth, and eighteenth holes. The tenth hole is a 401-yard par four with a particularly scenic lake on the left side of the fairway while the fifteenth is a 201-yard par-three featuring another attractive pond and water hazard to the front of the green. The eighteenth hole is a 405-yard par-four highlighting water along both sides of its fairways that requires an accurate tee shot for players to avoid a watery grave.
The Sweetwater Golf and Tennis Club have some of the best facilities in the town including a well-stocked Pro Shop and a driving range for golfers to warm upon. The club even offers professional teaching services for those who want an extra helping hand with their game. Rentals of carts and clubs are available in Sweetwater golf and tennis club.
