Located 80-miles southeast of Ho Chi Minh City is the publicly accessible 18-hole golf course at The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip. Opened for play in 2010 The Bluffs features sensational rolling topography which creates challenging variations in elevation amongst the dune-land whilst providing players with dramatic ocean views from almost every hole.
The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip was designed to capture the true essence of links-style golf. The course, which measures 7,007-yards, is routed over and around towering sand dunes that have been shaped over thousands of years by the elements. The wind plays a major role in the experience at The Bluffs as it's always strong, and its prevailing direction differs depending on the time of year.
Greg Norman, the par 71 course's designer said of The Bluffs: "The experience of playing true links golf among the dunes of southern Vietnam and having dramatic ocean views throughout your round will make The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip one of the most unique golf experiences in the world. This is one of only two pieces of land of this quality and character I have ever been given to work with, the other being Doonbeg (in Ireland). I'm a firm believer in using what Mother Nature gives us on a particular site. This one has it all."
The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip's multi-story, 2,300-square meter clubhouse was conceived by Graham Taylor Designs and features spectacular views of the golf course and the coastline and provides bar and dining options as well as on-site accommodation. The clubhouse also has a Pro Shop with caddies available for hire along with easy access to the putting greens which complement the driving range and short-game practice area.
