The Heritage Golf and Country Club: St John Course is located approximately 45-kilometers northeast of Melbourne's CBD, in the heart of the Yarra Valley region.
This private members club, boasting two championship courses, constitutes one of the nation's finest Golf and Country Clubs. Both courses, named St John and Henley, are meticulously maintained and impeccably groomed.
The 18 hole St John layout opened in 2000 and was designed by Jack Nicklaus, one of the all-time greats in golfing history. This championship course measures 6,670-metres in length, with a par of 72. The St John course has been well recognized with the Australian Golf Digest ranking the layout in the top 40 of all Australian golf courses.
The Henley layout opened to members in October 2006. The 18 hole course was designed by Tony Cashmore, in conjunction with the original design by Jack Nicklaus, and is now one of the best Winter courses in Victoria. In comparison to the St John course, the Henley is a links course, with far fewer trees, more water hazards, and greater exposure to the natural elements, especially wind.
The Heritage Golf and Country Club: St John Course provides a range of practice facilities including a driving range, bunker area, chipping and pitching area, and putting greens. Carts and a pro shop are also available to players.
The clubhouse features multiple bars and dining options, as well as catered function venues. Members can also access the luxury day spa, a fully equipped gymnasium, and an indoor heated swimming pool.
