Established over 40 years ago, The Moorings Yacht and Country Club are one of Vero Beach's most prestigious private clubs. Designed by Fazio in 1987 and updated in 2006, Hawk's Nest is a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and one of the few “green courses” left in Florida. Known as a true "shot makers" course the 7,046-yard routing features long holes, none of them being exactly the same, and sand dunes along the fairways beckon a player's ball.

Club facilities at The Moorings Yacht and Country Club include 9 Har-Tru tennis courts, 4 Pickleball courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, croquet, swimming pool and spa, the yacht club, and a Kid's Zone.
