Located within a short drive of Austin, Texas, and just minutes away from the San Antonio International Airport, TPC San Antonio is a private 36-hole golf club and resort facility, only accessible to members and guests of the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa.  

TPC San Antonio opened in January 2010 with two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by two of golf's most innovative architects: Greg Norman and Pete Dye. The layouts respectively complement one another with each encompassing their own unique look, feel and playing experience for both members and resort guests to enjoy.  

The intimate design of the par 72 Oaks Course features a traditional balance of narrow playing corridors carved through oak trees along with wider fairways offering multiple routes and strategic options to the green. Such is the challenge of this attractive Greg Norman design that is plays host to the PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open. 

The Oaks is easy walking with only 100-feet of fall from the high point of the course to the lowest. Bunkering on the course reflects a natural minimalist approach with edges emulating the canopy of the native oak trees. A variety of Bermuda grasses were specially selected for the 7,435-yard layout to provide optimum playing conditions, diversity in colour and texture and environmental sensitivity.  

There is a 23-acre practice facility for golfers at TPC San Antonio including a Pro shop, driving range, two pitching and chipping areas and a putting green. The hacienda-style clubhouse provides a Members' Grille overlooking the Oaks Course as well as a bar and fine dining restaurant.
