Situated on 1,200-acres of beautiful countryside in Duluth, Georgia, is the TPC Sugarloaf Country Club and its private, Greg Norman-designed, 27-hole championship course. All three nines offer four sets of tees, enabling golfers of all abilities to enjoy the subtle nuances and intricate design features that have brought Norman worldwide design acclaim.
TPC Sugarloaf's par 72 Tournament Course (also known as the Stables and Meadows Courses) was crafted to fit harmoniously with its surroundings on the site of the former Rollins Farm. The well-regarded layout features tree-lined Bermuda fairways and a challenging layout featuring streams, lakes and hills.
Norman complemented this timeless design - his first foray into golf course design in the United States with a third nine - the par 36 Pines Course. While slightly shorter at 3,441-yards the Pines is every bit as compelling as the two older nines and showcases gently rolling hills, towering, centuries-old trees, streams and three lakes.
Re-opened in 2019, TPC Sugarloaf saw extensive updates including resurfaced greens, tees, fairways, rebuilt bunkers, a state-of-the-art irrigation system for better coverage, as well a new and resurfaced cart paths. Sugarloaf boasts an impressive 10-acre practise facility featuring multi-tiered hitting areas, a 360-degree short game area including a 20,000 square-foot putting green surrounded by sand traps, and an expansive private teaching area.
TPC Sugarloaf's 60,000 square-foot clubhouse, designed in a Southern Classic style, serves as a welcoming backdrop for socializing after a round, private event and corporate entertainment. TPC Sugarloaf also has a seven-acre Lifestyle Centre, which includes a state-of-the-art fitness centre, nationally recognized Tennis Centre, an Aquatics Centre, Cabana Café and a children's recreational area.
