The West Palm Beach Golf Course, formerly known as the West Palm Beach Country Club, was originally established in 1921. This unique former PGA Tour site is a proud venue on the Florida Historic Golf Trail and was moved to its present location in 1947, and features an 18-hole, Dick Wilson designed, championship golf course.

The par 72 routing has hosted a variety of tournaments that have included famous players such as Arnold Palmer and unlike Florida's many flat courses, the West Palm Beach Golf Course has an undulating terrain that provides interesting elevation changes. The course features elevated tees and greens and rarely is there a flat lie. The rolling hills are covered with native vegetation, palm trees, and mature pines and oaks. There is also no water to be found on this golf course, a rare occurrence in Palm Beach County, indeed!

Open to the public and restored by Mark McCumber and Associates in 2009, the tee ranges span between 5,023- and 7,002-yards, with rolling terrain, elevated greens, and a magnificent variety of native landscaping. There is also a full grass driving range and large practice area that overlook the course

Although currently closed, in May of 2021 the West Palm Beach City Commission gave final approval to a 50-year lease with a not-for-profit developer tied to the PGA of America who will refurbish and operate the city's 179-acre golf course, a major step forward in the years-long effort to bring the neglected course back to life.

West Palm Beach Golf Club's golf real estate market has the support of several prominent indicators. Housing prices remain affordable, and healthy income trends continue to favour local demographics. For all intents and purposes, the West Palm Beach housing market is one of the most desirable in the country.
The range of single-family homes within the neighbourhood that adjoins the West Palm Beach Golf Course predominantly feature two- to four-bedroom, two-bathroom floorplans. Many also offer large backyards, swimming pools and one or two-car garages.

Families looking to purchase their first home or a new golf house in the West Palm Beach Golf Club community will find plenty of A-rated schools close to the community. There also are restaurants, retail shops, fitness and gymnastics facilities, and much more nearby. And, the outdoor amenities of Mary Brandon Park, the golf course right next door, and all the sun, sand and sea of the Atlantic Ocean will keep everyone active.
