Nestled along the picturesque Albert River this Ross Watson-designed par 72 layout offers a challenge to all levels of golfers from the social player to the lowest of handicaps. The highly regarded Windaroo Lakes course hosted the Queensland Open from 1992 to 1995.
Windaroo Lakes Golf Club also boasts one of Australia's hardest par 4s with the dreaded 437-meter double water carries 16th hole known as Snake Gully. This is arguably the most treacherous par 4 in Australia and is renowned for taking the shine of many a promising round.
Windaroo Lakes offers a newly refurbished restaurant and bar, coffee shop, and function room providing multiple options to suit all occasions. Golfers can also make use of the well-stocked pro shop along with the practice of putting green.
