Tucked away in rolling hills just five miles Northwest of Apopka on highway 441, Zellwood Station Country Club offers something for everyone including great greens and hilly terrain. Zellwood has a beautiful 18-hole layout and each hole has its own challenges.
Challenges like two par 4s that are drivable at 264 and 266-yards respectively, prompting “hole-in-one” dreams on a par 4 Or a 243-yard par 3 that’s the equal of any on the PGA Tour. Or holes 12 through 16 that dogleg around a large dry lake that is dubbed “Crater Junction” because – hit this hazard, and it is all over! Then there’s the the number 1 handicap hole, nicknamed “Train Wreck.”
Fun and challenging – once players have experienced the course, they will want to come back and conquer it! Designed by George Maddox in 1974, Zellwood Station Country Club has a well maintained course and provides friendly and professional staff to tend to the needs of its players. The pace of play at the course is also excellent.
Amenities at the club include a clubhouse with a well-stocked Pro shop where players can get the latest golf equipment and clothing apparel. Players can also head to the club’s restaurant after a day at the course, where they can enjoy great food and drinks. The club also offers a driving range to players so that they can practice their swing.
Membership at this semi-private club includes annual, seasonal, 9-hole seasonal and 9-hole yearly options for singles and the whole family. These memberships include unlimited green fees, unlimited driving range usage, and entrance into the three major club tournaments.
