The area has so much to offer, Birubi beach is situated at the Northern end of Stockton Beach (a stretch of beach and sand dunes that continues for 36km to Stockton). Here you can enjoy 4WD tours, sandboarding, camel and horse rides, and 4WD access to the beach. Birubi Beach is a patrolled beach which offers great swimming, surfing, whale watching, and fishing, it is also a dog-friendly beach and frames the most spectacular sunsets in the area. There is a lovely restaurant offering fantastic views while you enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch. Enjoy coastal walks around Birubi Point, have a picnic at Robinson Reserve where you will find a children's playground, BBQ facilities, and a skate park. The Anna Bay shops are only 800m away and offer a post office, IGA, bakery, pharmacy, takeaways, a tavern, service station, and much more. The main township of Nelson Bay is a further 12km away.
