Right on your doorstep, you are spoilt with the energetic atmosphere of Shoal Bay, pristine beach offering great swimming and a chance to unwind and for the more adventurous type there are kayaks, stand up paddleboards (open every day during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter) and bicycles for hire. There are secluded walking tracks through Tomaree National Park and spectacular views from the top of Tomaree Mountain, plus a selection of other surf beaches. Just a 5-minute drive (3 km) in the opposite direction brings you to Nelson Bay.

The master bedroom with king-sized bed and ensuite is north facing to capture the bay and beach views.
