Shoal Bay provides a range of activities including bush walking along the many tracks where you could spot a Koala or Echidna, the kids will love being close to the water where they can splash and play on the sand, hire kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter) and bicycles. A 3 km drive or bike ride will bring you to Nelson Bay where there is a larger selection of restaurants, cafes, shops, and activities including our popular dolphin watch cruises.
