Last Residential Development in Hope Island Selling Fast

GH Australia, who own both Links Hope Island Golf Course as well as Noosa Springs Golf Course has created what will be the last residential development in Hope Island.

A private enclave of 46 homesites, called 'The Gallery' is located in a land release of 3.8 hectares off Peter Senior Drive located between the Links Hope Island Golf Course and Saltwater Creek nature reserve. The homesites initially ranged in size from 540sqm to 833sqm and were priced from $545,000 to $1 million.

However, golfproperty.com believes that more than half the sites are already sold and only approximately 20 homesites remain. Land lots remaining range in size from 552sqm to 734sqm and range in price from $560,000 to $825,000.

It's not surprising these properties have been snapped up, even in the relative difficult time for the property market. This land release was set to become one of Hope Island's Resort's most prestigious and a rare opportunity to obtain a medium to large homesite in one of Queensland's most sought-after locations.

"This is an extremely rare residential land release as there aren't many vacant lots remaining within the Hope Island Resort, particularly close to the Links Clubhouse", said Tony Hymus Sales Agent for The Gallery.

"The Gallery" represents an opportunity to live in one of the last residential neighbourhoods within Hope Island Resort" said Mr Hymus, who expected strong buyer interest in The Gallery particularly from overseas. Properties at The Gallery will benefit from all the security and lifestyle amenities of the Hope Island Resort.

"This is lifestyle buying at its best", said Mr Hymus, "Buyers within The Gallery may also become members of the exclusive Links Hope Island Golf Club and so will receive all the benefits and privileges that offers".

"Homesites are set away from existing homes and offer an even greater level of privacy", he said.

"Hope Island has become a major drawcard for Gold Coast property buyers because of its proximity to the M1 plus a range of retail and leisure facilities within close reach", Me Hymus said.  "However, the supply of vacant homesites is diminishing", he added.

Residents on Hope Island and neighbouring suburbs also benefit from the expansion of facilities and services in the area, including the opening last year of the Hope Island Marketplace retail and commercial hub. This $65 million development is considered a catalyst for growth, which contributed to a potential undersupply of luxury apartments in Hope Island, identified last year by property researcher, Urbis.

Hope Island Resort has Integrated Tourist Resort status, which, under the FIRB regulations, permits the sale of residences to foreign buyers without the usual restrictions, elevating the suburb to a highly desirable area in the Gold Coast property market.

Construction has been undertaken by civil contractor, Shadforths.
