Known as the place with the most active lifestyle, the Costa Del Sol Golf Club promotes sports and physical exercises for residents. Founded in 1974, the 100-acre golf property features a gated community with a townhouse-style structure. Surprisingly, it's also the first gated community in Doral, Florida.
Costa Del Sol's name is inspired by its Spanish heritage, mainly a region in Spain with the same name. The community is divided into five major streets: Costa Del Sol Boulevard, Alcantra, Estepona, Torremolinos, and Adra Avenues. Each street connects 28 clusters of golf homes, with a total of 768 houses to choose from. Although the community gets its inspiration from Spain, every street in Costa Del Sol represents various home styles, such as Mediterranean and European, to fit each homeowner's unique tastes. Likewise, each home offers different amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pools, and golf properties.
For each golf home, residents can already enjoy 2-3 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, and garage space for two cars. The houses also have tiled patios and partially-covered porches. For its interior, some of the homes have formal dining areas, open kitchens, and spacious master suites. When residents sit outside on the patio, they are faced with beautiful scenery including nearby lakes such as Lake Marion, Lake Lucas, and Little Blue Heron Lake.
Costa Del Sol's location is also perfect for residents looking for convenience. It's only a 9-minute drive to Miami International Mall and a 22- minute drive to Miami International Airport. The Costa Del Sol is nearby schools like Doral Academy, John I. Smith Middle School, and Florida International University. Also, it is situated in the southern part of Doral Park Country Club and Trump National Doral Miami.
For relaxation, the Costa Del Sol features a newly-remodeled 18-hole public Golf Course. The Course was designed by ASGCA Architect Robert E. Cupp, with the help of Jack Nicklaus Design as the senior course designer. Since the Course has a distance of 6,011 yards, amenities are complete to serve all residents. From its clubhouse, golfers can enjoy an outdoor pool, driving range, a pro shop, and a patio. For non-golfers, the clubhouse also has a multi-purpose room for all physical activities. Everyone in the community can pursue new hobbies while staying in Costa Del Sol. Residents or non-residents can enjoy the golf course by paying a monthly membership.
After each game, golfers can also dine in at Costa Del Sol's renowned Lago Del Sol restaurant located at the center of a lake so residents can enjoy the fresh air while eating. They usually serve food in a Bistro style with a fine-dining experience. Since the fresh market is an 8-minute drive from Costa Del Sol, rest assured the food quality is spectacular. As the Country Club opens every day, Costa Del Sol prioritizes safety with 24-hour security and high-quality cameras in each area.
