For those seeking the South Florida private country club lifestyle at prices that fit every budget, Miles Grant Country Club is clearly for you. Associated with the country club are the condos, townhouses, and golf homes making up the neighborhoods of the Miles Grant community which is as diverse as the people who live there.
The Miles Grant community lies on the southern edge of the Rocky Point area of Stuart, close to the Saint Lucie inlet and the Intracoastal Waterway. The residential neighborhoods are comprised of five distinct real estate sections and the homes in Country Club Cove. Each section operates independently with its own Board of Directors and management style and thus has individual maintenance fees.
Miles Grant is an active community where members golf, play tennis, swim, walk, kayak, participate in a wide variety of games, outdoor sports, and activities, and gather together for fun. Ownership in all sections, with the exception of Fairway Villas, and residency of Country Club Cove requires social membership in the Miles Grant Country Club.
Perhaps the main sports and activity at Miles Grant Country Club are golfing. The club's challenging and perfectly manicured 18-hole, par 64 executive golf course has been known since 1972 as one of the finest in the area. All skill levels, from the senior to the junior golfer, find the golf course to be a challenge and the layout will give an enjoyable round in under four hours.
Nearby Stuart was named “The Sailfish Capital of the World” and “2016 America's Happiest Seaside Town” by Coastal Living magazine. Perfectly located on the Intracoastal Waterway, along what's known as the Treasure Coast of Florida, it boasts great weather for fishing, boating, and other water sports. The quaint downtown area hosts fine dining, The Lyric Theatre, galleries, wonderful one-of-a-kind shops, and a Riverwalk.
Closer to the range of golf villas, luxury houses, and condominiums of the Miles Grant community is the town of Port Salerno. At the marina, residents can watch local fishermen come in with their catch, shop the stores where local artists exhibit their crafts, and enjoy fellowship as well as good food and beverages at a choice of several restaurants and bars.
Miles Grant residents can also ride to nearby Sandsprit Park. Located on the St. Lucie River and Manatee Pocket, the park has pavilions and a playground for family fun and picnics, outdoor exercise stations, and a boardwalk with benches for relaxing at the water's edge. For the fisherman, long piers stretch like fingers into the water, or you can launch your boat at the public ramps.
Although the single-family units within the community have no age restriction, Miles Grant operates mostly as a community of persons who have retired or are reaching retirement age. Residents of the condominiums are required to be 55 years of age or older.
