The Boca Raton Municipal Executive Course opened in 1982 together with its sister course, the 18-hole Municipal Championship Course, both are set on a 200-acre park property teeming with mature trees and winding lakes.
A public course, the Executive Family Course is also referred to as the Alan C. Alford Red Reef Family Course. It serves to complement the Municipal Championship Course. Geared more towards less experienced players, this is a great place for beginners to learn the game before proceeding to the 18-hole course. Considered as a player-friendly course suitable for all ages and skill levels, it also appeals to families. Advanced players can expect an enjoyable quick round of golf which they can finish in less than 90 minutes.
Designed by Charles Ankrom, this par 30 golf course is only 1,877 yards in length. It offers 3 tees for different skill levels. The layout consists of 3 par 4s at Holes 1, 4 & 8 and the rest are par 3s. The fairways are set on a rolling landscape with lakes and mature trees presenting as obstacles. At least 6 holes are influenced by water hazards. Bunkers are also scattered protecting the greens and some on the landing zones. The course has a rating of 27.4.
The Boca Raton Municipal Executive Course shares the driving range, practice bunker, pitching, and chipping area, and putting green with its sister course. A PGA professional is also available in-house for instructions.
