Formerly known as the California Golf and Art Country Club, this golf club is one of the oldest in Sun City and has been in operation since 1963. This par 72 golf course has established itself as a staple in Riverside County and with a length of 7,050-yards when played from its longest tees, the course provides a plenty of challenge to even the most experienced players. The Cherry Hills layout features five sets of tees to ensure that everyone can enjoy this wonderful layout.
The parklandstyle Cherry Hills Golf Course was designed by the late Milton Coggins in 1963 and is notable for its well-placed water hazards and sand traps. The management does a terrific job of making sure the course always presents its membership and visiting golfers with well-maintained greens and fairways.
Along with its Pro shop, Cherry Hills Golf Course has a full driving range and short game practice area for players to warm up on, plus a putting green. It also has a resident pro that can provide golf lessons for both adults and kids. The clubhouse has complete meeting and banquet facilities and can be hired for private events, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.

This master-planned community was designed for 55+ residents and was established in the 1960s as one of Del Webb’s Sun City land development projects. Originally a census-designated town, it has since been incorporated as part of Menifee.
