The magnificent Eagleton golf course presents every golfer with an appropriate level of enjoyment and challenge as well as creating a permanent ecological oasis, enhancing the image of the Garden City.
Like the Old Course at St. Andrews, which preserves the Scottish Linklands for posterity, Eagleton seeks to honour and accentuate the natural setting. Displaying sensitivity for the environment, the design emerges from the terrain, sculptured around existing contours. Creative land management attuned in form, function and aesthetics to the surroundings, has resulted in a masterpiece. Trees, open landscape, water bodies and theme plantings add a sense of completion, fulfillment and satisfaction.
Eagleton is considered one of the top 20 golf courses in India and and is one of very few courses in India, as well as the only course in South India, to be listed in the Rolex Top 1000 Golf Courses of the World.
Eagleton has been the proud host of the first ever Ladies European Golf Tour in India and has also hosted the 31st Asia Pacific Junior Golf Championship.
Ecological factors are present in all stages, with over 25,000 trees, lush turf and sophisticated fertilization, irrigation plus waste water management measures contributing to a natural pleasing biosphere.
