Gleneagles Country Club is a private, residential country club surrounding world-class social and sports amenities, including two 18-hole championship golf courses. The club is situated in the heart of Delray Beach, Florida, with Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airports both within 30-minutes.
The Legends Course, Gleneagles' signature layout, was originally designed by Karl Litten in 1985 and re-opened in 2011 after a $5 million renovation conducted under the direction of golf course architect Kipp Schulties. This 7,047-yard par 72 routings can challenge even the most talented of golfers, however, with 13 sets of combination tees, golfers of all abilities can enjoy a comfortable day on the links.
Elements such as Florida native caprock around the lakes, more than 50 different types of trees, a variety of wildlife, and rich landscaping enhance the natural beauty of the course, while a meticulous golf maintenance crew ensures that the tees, greens, and bunkers are in top condition year-round. Golfers will also find plenty of practice facilities at Gleneagles along with a well-stocked Pro Shop.
Gleneagles has a variety of sporting and recreational activities available to its members and their guests including 20 Har-Tru night-lit tennis courts, four pickleball courts, and an over 90,000-square foot clubhouse with three restaurants and lounges. In March 2018, the club opened a new, two-story Healthy Lifestyle Centre that features a state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, physical therapy services, and resort-style pool complex. Gleneagles is also an excellent location for any type of event, and the staff has years of experience hosting weddings, mitzvahs, golf tournaments, charity events, and various private functions.
