The Heritage Harbor Golf and Country Club feature a beautiful 18-hole golf course in Lutz, Florida that is surrounded by rich natural foliage and wildlife. This par 72 layout has four sets of tees and loads of water and marshes to cross. Along the way, golfers will likely spot hawks, ospreys, loons, ibis, herons, and kingfishers. Measuring 6,900 yards from the longest tees the Heritage Harbor golf course is open to the public and was created to be a playable layout, but also one that encourages golfers to think and raise their level of play.
As golfers tee off at the start, they will face a par 4 slight dogleg right that’s yards from the back tees. There’s a pond to the right, which is fairly easy to avoid but the real obstacles to making par are the bunker just past the pond. The 13th hole is a favorite because of the forced carryover of a natural wetland area needed on the second shot to reach the green.
The par 3 fourteenth hole is probably the one that amazes most players – in terms of the golfing skills that it demands. From the back tees, it’s 263-yards across a natural area that’s 100-yards wide and over a pond as well. In all, from the championship tees, it takes a 225-yard tee shot, probably with a driver, just to carry onto dry land in front of the green. Then golfers still have to cross a bunker to get to the putting surface. Many players deem this one of the most memorable holes in all of Hillsborough County.
Designers Jed Azinger and Gordon Lewis created the Heritage Harbor Golf and Country Club, which aims to be as friendly as possible to golfers of all handicaps. Beginners can also hone their game at the course’s practice facility which includes a driving range, putting green, pitching green, and more. Golf professionals can also guide them with exclusive one-on-one coaching sessions.
The Harbor Terrace Restaurant provides an assortment of basic and complex dining plans for golfers. From cookouts to fine dining, the catering menu offers a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The clubhouse function venue is also available for private events.

Golf homes at the Heritage Harbor Golf and Country Club offer large living areas from 2,000 square feet to over 3,000 square feet.
