Built in 1984 and designed by Ron Garl with the help of Jan Bel Jan in renovations, the Hideaway Country Club is an 18-hole golf course that provides a challenging yet enjoyable scenic golf experience. Players will have a memorable round of golf over rolling hills framed by towering slash pine trees on perfectly manicured and state-of-the-art Paspalum Platinum TE grassed tees, fairways, rough areas, and greens.

With a par of 67, Hideaway's layout will still challenge every player regardless of their ability and provide a fun and relaxing experience at the end of the day. To lessen the environmental impact of this Lee County course, over 200 trees and more than 2,000 native plants have been placed within its 5,146 yards of lush tropical landscaping to provide golfers with an untouched natural setting that adds a positive element to the course.

Since its renovation in 2012, the four tees within the routing exceeded the expectations of many of its private members. In fact, Hideaway has won several awards on Golf Advisor throughout the years. Some of these accolades include leading the top 25 courses in Florida in 2014 and the top 25 courses for the pace of play in the U.S.

Beginners and professionals like to play at the Hideaway Country Club because of its friendly approach to all golfers.
