KOA Fairways Golf Course is a 9-hole golf course and one of the Okeechobee KOA Resort’s many fine amenities. The semi-private layout in South Okeechobee, Florida, is perfect for soothing one’s golf cravings and is ideal for quick play among friends or fellow resort guests.
The golf course was built back in 1977 and has always been available year-round. It also has practice facilities including a driving range and putting green where players can tune up before a fun nine holes. Golf cart rentals and other equipment are all available at the Pro shop.
The par 34 routing features an executive-style, 2,592-yard layout, but its design offers three sets of tees making it ideal for beginners and kids. Much like many other resort-style golf courses, the KOA Fairways Golf Course ‘s main purpose is quick, casual games and not for competitive golf. However, the Okeechobee KOA Resort can organize golf tournaments for groups and corporate golf days.
Okeechobee KOA Resort is a vacation campground with a multitude of facilities and amenities for its visitors. Aside from the 9-hole golf course and golf practice facilities, there are also tennis courts, a swimming pool and fitness center, billiard tables, minigolf, and many more recreational facilities available at the resort.
