Links Lady Bay Resort is situated on the cusp of the magnificent Lady Bay, adjacent to the seaside town of Normanville, is Links Lady Bay Resort. It is surrounded by the tranquility and brilliance of the Fleurieu Peninsula and is less than 30-minutes from the famous McLaren Vale wine region.
Designed by Jack Newton, Graeme Grant, and John Spencer the 18 holes, Links Lady Bay, is a true St Andrews style sand-based course. Gently undulating couch fairways and vast, smooth, and subtle bent grass greens demand the kind of shot-making required at Scottish and Irish links.
Some of the short holes could grace any of the most famous links courses in the world. In particular, the signature 17th hole, which features in Australia's best holes, provides a challenging test into the wind for the player striving to gain their par 3.
With classic bunkering and strong enough from the back tees to test gifted golfers - yet fair enough to be enjoyed by the average player - this par 72, walk or cart championship golf course, is regarded as one of South Australia's finest.
The Links Lady Bay is open to the public and provides practice facilities including a large putting green and a grass tee practice range. The clubhouse has superb dining and conference facilities and also features a day spa and a fully stocked pro shop.
