Designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton Design Group in 2013, the Mangrove Executive Golf Course is one of the newer course in The Villages. The nine-hole, par 27 Mangrove course quickly is becoming a favorite among The villagers of Brownwood, Collier and Collier at Antrim Dells.
Mangrove is sure to please golfers of all abilities as they experience the constant breeze that always seems to blow across Evans Prairie, providing an extra challenge for club selection. Multiple sets of tees, with yardage ranging from 1,393 down to as little as 694-yards, allows players to tailor their rounds with a variety of yardage options.
Mangrove offers golfers a teaching pro at the course to guide them to further improve their game. All the courses on The Villages Executive Golf trail are ranked on a scale of 1 to 4, with 1 being the friendliest and 4 the most challenging, allowing golfers to play the level that best suits them. The Mangrove Executive Golf Course is a level 3 layout, perfect for intermediate and advanced players.
Mangrove Executive Golf Course is just one of The Villages 40+ executive golf courses, where villagers are given "free golf for life." To get to Mangrove Executive Golf Course Buena, take Vista South across 466A to the first roundabout. Head west on Pinellas Place. Make a left on Hendry Drive, and the starter shack will be on the right hand side just past Big Cypress Recreation Center.
