Sandhill Crane Golf Club is the only golf course in Florida that winds through 140-acres of the Loxahatchee Natural Preserve and wetlands areas. The municipal 18-hole layout plays to 6,500-yards through southern pines, palm trees, and marshland, making defined elevation changes and creating breathtaking views. It's quality golf while still being affordable.
Formerly known as Palm Beach Gardens Golf Club and designed by Roy Case in 1992, it was redesigned and renovated in 2013 by the golf architecture firm Dusenberry Design. The par 72 course now has a new irrigation system, Bermuda fairways, and TifEagle greens. Golf amenities at the club include practice facilities and an aqua driving range.
Sandhill Crane Golf Club also prides itself on its training facility, considered to be one of the best in Palm Beach Gardens and the great Palm Beach County area. The club offers various junior training programs which have delivered star athletes and exceptional golfers. The adult programs can also help beginners and make them more skilled and consistent.
The new Sandhill Crane clubhouse is approximately 22,000-square feet in size, with more than 15,000 open-air, which means more patio and balcony space surrounding the building. Facilities include a pro shop, locker rooms, food and beverage services, and an event space that can accommodate 220 people for banquet and meeting seating and 180 people for wedding seating.
The Club also offers nearby residents and visitors The Dancing Crane Restaurant, an excellent destination for those looking for delicious food with spectacular views of the golf course, nature preserve, and wetlands. The restaurant is open daily to the public for breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, happy hour, and other weekly specials.
