The Grange Golf Club (East Course) perfectly situated along the coast of Adelaide, a half-hour drive from its CBD and even less from the international airport is the Grange Golf Club. Impressive is the fact its two courses are both revered top 40 Australian courses.

In 1976, a then trainee Greg Norman earned his first tour victory at the site. Thirty years later, he would redesign it. The Grange was originally designed by Vern Morcom, who spent a childhood learning the ins and outs of golf course maintenance and design. Morcom's initial design was upgraded with respect in the 2000s.

The eastern course features a variety of bunkers, forestry, and wetlands. These 18 holes have a variety in doglegs, fairway space, and pars from 3 to 5, but are unified by troublesome bunker placements. Hole 4's rightward water hazard is beached by bunkers but the fairway will punish overpowered shots with a rough to its left. The greens are a consistent size and where scores can be kept lower. The Australian-first aquifer storage means the greens are perfect to play and pristinely kept.

'West' is wide, undulating, and consistently suggests lines that make for important approach shots. Most holes are par 4s but their differing lengths showcase the course's smart design. The 17th is arguably the most difficult at Grange West: players need to hit true to the right of the fairway, with pines punishing leftward tees. However, the deep bunker sits to the right, requiring near-perfect play to hit the green.

This member's course boasts notable South Australian identities, as well as professional Jason Norris, as regular players. The views from the clubhouse or the tee are tranquil. Easily accessible from all points of Adelaide make for a prestigious membership at The Grange.
