Werribee Park Golf Club is located west of Melbourne in the beautiful Werribee South precinct along with some of Werribee's most notable tourist attractions; Victoria State Rose Gardens, Werribee Open Range Zoo, and the National Equestrian Centre.
With breathtaking views of the Werribee River and the Red Cliffs, this publicly accessible 18-hole championship golf course, founded in 1976 and designed by Kevin Hartely, offers fully watered fairways and excellent greens. The open design of this par 72 walk or cart course is counterpointed with strategic plantings of trees while its well-placed bunkers and lateral water hazards are a test even for the expert player.
The Werribee Park Golf Club is blessed with free draining alluvial soils along its 6,247-metre length which allows golf to be played throughout the year, even in the wettest winters when most surrounding courses are closed.
After a day on the greens, players can enjoy a meal or drink at the clubhouse bar and grill which features views of the You Yangs, Werribee River, and the Bellarine Peninsula. Golfers also have a pro shop available along with the practice range and putting green.
