This 18 hole, par 70 course has a mixture of par 3s, 4s, and 5s over its relatively short 5,000 meters. This parkland course presents plenty of challenges in a well-adorned setting.
Yarra Bend features many high tees and uphill climbs to the green. The 8th hole utilizes these traits to a challenging degree. Par 3 sits on the side of a hill with a steep drop before the green. Any shots even remotely rightward will be rolled to the rough.
The Yarra Bend Golf Club club has taken advantage of its prime location with practice facilities and adventure golf on offer. The modern driving range hosts 30 bays, all undercover and with shot-tracking television screens. Players can simulate rounds at famed clubs such as the influential St. Andrew's in Scotland. The club takes pride and passion in the well-patronized range, ensuring balls and mats are regularly inspected and replaced.
The Adventure golf is well landscaped over its 36 holes and is always popular. BannLynchMcDade, a group of Melbourne-based PGA members, is the on-site professional and offers clinics for all skill levels and availability.
