Curlewis Golf Club is just one hour from Melbourne and 15-minutes from Geelong Victoria's Bellarine.
With a sandy base, a minimum of trees, and naturally undulating couch fairways of Vernon Morcom designed Links is one of the best courses on The Bellarine Peninsula. Following the opening of the course in 1970, the original design was enhanced in 1976 by a Kevin Hartley course master plan.
In 2001 significant improvements were again made following the adoption of a second master plan by renowned course architect Michael Clayton. With challenging bunkers and firm, fast greens, it is the wind that often determines the level of playing difficulty now.
The course measures 6,150-metres and is a par 71 challenge for players of all standards and a true test of golfing ability. Open to the public, golfers can enjoy this walk or cart course along with the beautiful vistas across Corio Bay.
There is a range of other leisure options to be found at Curlewis, including FootGolf and Mini Golf, and golfers can make use of the pro shop, driving range, and putting and chipping green. The clubhouse has a bar and bistro, as well as a restaurant, and can cater to functions.
