Situated just 30-minutes southeast of the CBD, the private Spring Valley Golf Club is home to one of Melbourne's famous Sandbelt courses, with a layout that ranks amongst Australia's best.

First opened in 1948, the course is held in high regard and was recently rated by Golf Australia Magazine as the 42nd best course in Australia and among the top 10 in metropolitan Melbourne. Spring Valley is home to a huge variety of birdlife and its immaculate greens, fairways, and signature bunkering contribute to maintaining the course's high ranking.

Spring Valley's 18-hole walk or cart layout, which measures 6,161-metres from the championship tees, was expertly designed to test players of all abilities. The course, originally devised by architect H.V. Morcom but remodeled in recent times by the Geoff Ogilvy, Mike Clayton, Mike Cocking, and Ashley Mead (OCCM) design team, has played host to many prestigious tournaments over the years.

Along with its well-stocked Pro shop, Spring Valley Golf Club is synonymous with the name 'Home of Elite Golf' and is the home facility for VIS and Golf Victoria's Elite Players Program, under the tutelage of the Marty Joyce Golf Academy. The Practice Facility for the Home of Elite Golf is one of the best in the state with two driving ranges, a complete short practice hole with additional pitching and chipping areas, and a large practice putting green.

The clubhouse is stylishly appointed and offers members both bar and dining options and can cater to corporate and private events for which there are several function spaces.
