The championship golf courses are an icon in Spain which placed Costa Calida on the world map. Known to be the former venue of the Spanish Open and other professional circuits, each course has its character. They are challenging in different ways but suitable for different levels of players.
A par 71 course designed by Robert Dean Putman, with palm trees, lakes, and natural storm gullies known as ‘barrancos' as its key features. It is shorter than the South course measuring 6,294 yards (5,755 meters) at the white tees, with narrower fairways and larger greens. This is an ideal course for all types of players.
Considered to be one of the best courses in Spain, this par 73 course is around 7,107 yards (6,499 meters) in length (white tees). Also designed by Robert Dean Putman in 1971, it was remodeled by the celebrated player, Arnold Palmer in 2005. This course has been the venue of major professional tournaments, including several Spanish Opens, and PGA Championships for both men and women.
A beautiful course located in a unique environment of dense pine forest nestled at the foot of Cablanque Nature Park. This par 72 course was designed by Dave Thomas and is the shortest course among the 3 measuring at 6,249 yards (5,714 meters) at the white tees. This is a demanding course that frequently changes in elevation and offers a different set of challenges requiring a degree of accuracy in plays.
La Manga also offers an 18-hole pitch and putt course that was designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros to hone your skills. This is further complemented by a new golf academy, considered one of the best golf practice centers in Europe. Established by Thomas Johannsson, the La Manga Club Golf Training Center offers a new teaching system to help perfect your short and long game as well as your swing.
The Real Golf Club House at La Manga Club is centrally situated at the resort accessible to the hotel, the golf courses, and the practice facilities. It is also the first golf resort in the world where all 36 holes (North and South Courses) can be seen from the clubhouse terrace. Here you can find the 37 Sports & Spike Bar, where big golf legends who have made a significant contribution to the club have been honored with a dedicated corner. Other amenities include the pro shop and rental services.
Visitors are welcome to play daily with the club offering memberships for owners and guests. Memberships available are 1 or 2 years options entitling the member to a year-round of golf and discounted rates on the green fees.
