Matt Swanson
Matt Swanson started his own golf architecture firm in 2010, Swanson Golf Design, after serving for more than twenty years as Senior Design Associate with Fred Couples and Gene Bates. Matt's diverse educational background in both art and landscape architecture, along with over 35-years of experience, provides him with some unique skills when providing clients with pre-construction views of a proposed design.
Matt Swanson Golf Design has been involved in the planning, artistic rendering, design, and construction of scores of golf courses around the world. In addition to creating golf course design projects through Swanson Golf Design, Matt continues to partner with several well-known golf course architects to provide planning, design, and graphic services, furthering the range and scope of his own design philosophies.
