Golf Communities come in many shapes and sizes from just 200 homes up to 5,000 golf residences or more. Some golf estates are targeted specifically to families, while others cater for retirement, or active adults over 55. Regardless of your stage of life, living in a golf home has become increasingly popular for golfers and non-golfers alike. Club membership is optional in some Communities and membership ranges across private, semi private, equity, non-equity and bundled.

The Country Club at Silver Springs Shores is a census-designated golf community made up of single-family homes and condominiums situated overlooking the golf course and with peaceful water views. These golf properties have access to a community center, walking and biking trails at the Greenway Park, plenty of grocery stores, A-rated schools, and use of The Country Club at Silver Springs Shores golf course.

The Country Club at Silver Springs Shores single-family homes and golf condos are a great choice for golf home buyers on a budget or for those who want to purchase a rental property. The Homeowners’ Association fee is also very reasonable at around $140 per month.

Residents at Silver Springs Shores can use the excellent recreational facilities provided at The Silver Springs Shores Community Center, including its three swimming pools, a youth center, and outdoor game courts. The club's amenities include its 19,000-square foot clubhouse with a large main hall for golf functions and banquets, a full service restaurant, and a golf shop.

The Country Club of Florida

Most golf estates and golf houses within The Country Club of Florida feature lush landscapes, swimming pools, and summer kitchens, huge master suites, formal dining rooms, double sitting rooms, and more. Residents who are members of country club can take advantage of its calendar of events which is filled with a diverse range of activities.

For non-golfers and golfers looking to add another sport, the club provides a croquet program that has grown steadily over the years. The Country Club of Florida golf community also offers Har-Tru tennis courts, pickleball courts, and The Lifestyle Center. The Center facility, that only opened recently in June 2020, includes state-of-the-art Technogym fitness equipment, Pilates reformers, group fitness classes, spa treatments, physical therapy, and a resort-style lap pool.

Residents of the community enjoy close proximity to various retail amenities and their children can attend the area's A-rated schools. The country club offers the Pelican Grill for casual dining and there is a wealth of other dining options nearby for those who enjoy dining out.

There are many homes on the golf course, as well as trees - The Country Club of Mount Dora

Approximately 830 golf homes, divided into numerous sections, are situated inside the deed-restricted golf community of The Country Club of Mount Dora, with the majority having two to five bedrooms and the same number of bathrooms. With floor plans ranging from no less than 1,000-square feet to as large as nearly 5,000-square feet, with many golf properties having attached two to five-car garages - some even include golf cart parking.

The golf homes at the club are reasonably priced from $200,000 up to $1 million. All have open layouts where residents can find exquisitely crafted and spacious rooms. Beautiful dens covered or screened lanais, storage rooms, and private outdoor swimming pools are also features of many golf properties at the club.

Lakes with fountain and clubhouse - The Country Club Of Orlando

Lovely, exclusive, and family-friendly, The Country Club of the Orlando community began its development in 1925 – almost 15 years after the golf course was introduced in 1911. The neighborhood’s streets display an array of homes with diverse architectures – from period to contemporary. Many of these residences are ancestral yet, highly valued and well maintained.

The private and members-only Country Club of Orlando has been the traditional recreation and social hub of the community since its inception. Residents with memberships are entitled to enjoy rounds on the 18-hole championship course which has evolved remarkably throughout the last century. Aside from golf, the country club also makes available to members excellent amenities for tennis, croquet, swimming, fitness, and elegant clubhouse dining.

The Country Club of Winter Haven is a private golf club that has a delightful community made up of the numerous golf homes surrounding the club. These residences are comprised of single family homes, golf villas and golf condos inside a secure gated golf neighborhood.

Surrounding the country club community are many fine restaurants and nightspots, churches, shopping centers, hospitals, theaters, discount stores and service-type businesses, making life for residents comfortable and easy. Nearby there are a variety of cultural, historical and other natural attractions such as Polk Theatre, Marshall Hampton Reserve, Busch Gardens Tampa, The Lakeland Center, The Polk Museum of Art, and the Epcot World Showcase.

Winter Haven itself a family-friendly town surrounded by nature, with an ideal climate with an average temperature of delightful 72 degrees, making it an excellent place for those homebuyers who love the outdoors. Situated between Tampa and Orlando, those living at The Country Club of Winter Haven can easily take advantage of the many beautiful lakes surrounding the community.

On the golf course, there is a lake and numerous clubhouses - The Cove of Rotonda Golf Center

One of the most renowned communities, The Cove of Rotunda Golf Center is headed by the Rotonda West Association. Residents in this community appreciate the vibrancy and tranquility of its many golf homes with some designed to fit suburban living despite being surrounded by 26-miles of canals, ponds, and lakes which are abundant in fishes and wildlife. Another nearby community from The Cove is the Harbour Village, a waterfront golf condominium complex. Since 1986, golf homes at Harbour Village have been designed to provide cozy a neighborhood to residents, with many having one to five-bedrooms floor plans and priced from no less than $150,000 up to $750,000.

Residents of The Cove can take advantage of the community's many top-notch amenities like the heated, Olympic-sized swimming pool, pier access for fishing activities, and two expansive tennis courts. With a fully-equipped function room, buyers can also make social gatherings a regular feature of living within the community.

SLS Residence Building Hallandale Beach - The Diplomat Golf Resort and Spa

The Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa is currently closed for redevelopment by SLS Resorts. The $220 million development is set to open in 2022 and will include a 26-storey SLS Residence luxury apartment building with 250 one, two and three bedroom golf homes plus 50 ‘condo hotels' on the top floor. A 10-court tennis complex and a 48-slip Marina plus mixology lounge and a Katsuya restaurant and bar will also be constructed.

Only 5 acres will be used for the golf home development, with 122 acres home to an 18-hole Greg Norman championship golf course. The course is also planned to feature four par-5 holes and a 570-yard hole that is one of the longest in South Florida.

The opening of the Resort and Golf Course has been delayed through 2021 and, at the time of writing, details are relatively scarce. However, we understand the club will be rebranded as The Shark Club by SLS Hotels

Golf course with lake and homes - The Dunes Sanibel Island

After a day of golf or tennis, players, locals, and visitors can head to the clubhouse to find Rassa Steak and Seafood Restaurant. They can also use its other amenities, including the swimming pool, billiards, and banquet facilities. Outside the clubhouse, they will find various water activities, including spending the day at the beach, fishing for Tarpon, boating, and more.
